Hi everybody, just a quick note to keep you in the loop. Things have been slightly quiet recently as I've not only been working on the next single, but also trying to recoup some finances so that I can continue to do what I love without limits (other than financial, that's just unavoidable unfortunately, it's a limit I would love to remove!) I do have a gig in London at Bridgehouse 2 on the 28th September and in Norwich at B2 on the 13th October, so it would be lovely to see some of you at one of those. I will be aiming to get on with things as soon as possible, so hopefully it won't be too long before I have further news for you!

I am looking forward to returning to NRSIX studios tomorrow to continue working on the Silence Of A Gun single. We're now working on guitars, all sounding good so far. Things have been a little delayed this month, with having to sort out a new car, amongst other things after my long suffering Fusion finally gave up on me! As a result things will be a little quiet through the Autumn although I will still be pushing as and where I can to make more things happen! My tour weekend went extremely well in Exeter and Nottingham, and I am pleased to say that I will be returning to Exeter on Boxing Day! I will also be opening for Victim Of Illusion at Bridgehouse 2 in London (Canning Town) on 28th September!

Well, what can I say? July has been a banging month, the drums are down for Silence Of A Gun! While I'm on it, I'd just like to congratulate Justin Brand at NRSIX and Amy on the birth of their daughter Sophia-Rose! Aside from studio work, I have been out gigging again this month, performing a back to back in the UK's second city. Manchester, and then I headed to the capital to perform at the St.Moritz in Soho, which I found to be a fantastic venue, welcoming and with a lot of character! I have a tripleheader this weekend. I am supporting The Kut, one of my favourite bands, at the B2 in Norwich tomorrow night, then am performing the Gorleston clifftop festival on Saturday at 5pm, which I understand is always busy and has a great atmosphere! Then on Sunday I will be playing in Cambridge for the first time in 2018, opening for touring American band T-Clemente. While in Manchester, I met up with my friend Alex Odinson from Harbour Radio and spent some time hanging out with Matt Jones from Twisted Illusion and Adrien from Cadence Noir. Alex and I did a little interview and basically had some fun messing around on his Rock Show on 20/07 and you can view the live feed here, which features us chatting shit with the audience but I also performed quite a few songs (including an unexpected cover) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58LvOSS5grc&t=371s
August is looking pretty busy too as I will be back in the studio for another day and will also be returning to Nottingham as well as venturing to Exeter for the first time!

NEW SINGLE ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Hi all, as previously mentioned at the beginning of the week, Gent's second single, Silence of a Gun, will be recorded in July and August as I look to build on Warning Sign's debut. Silence of a Gun will be a more upbeat, harder rock offering than it's predecessor, a little more towards what you may have been used to from me before Gent began! I'm also planning the video for it, which I'm basically aiming to make funnier than the Warning Sign video, my little mind is ticking! looking forward to letting you guys hear it a few months down the line!

Hi everybody, sorry there haven't been any entries for a while! I have been working hard behind the scenes and also having an old phone doesn't make regular updates such an easy thing to do! A couple of bits of news for you: Firstly please note that my gig at the Flour and Flagon in Manchester for Wednesday 20/06 has been cancelled (this is due to the World Cup, so a little out of my hands unfortunately) the re-scheduled date will now take place on 15/07 (Sunday) at Fab Cafe. Also I have been back in touch with Justin Brand at NRSIX studios and am very proud to announce that we will be working together once again to create Gent's second single over the coming weeks/months! (Justin is expecting to become a father in July, so he will naturally be taking a little time out around then) I'm looking forward to letting you all hear the second stage of the Gent's story!
On another note I have once again been writing new material (which it appears I am now doing in my sleep and then having to remember it when I wake the following day!) And one final announcement - Gent will soon become a band for the first time, for a facebook live session (date to be confirmed) where we will be showcasing some songs in a live band format, there may be more things happening as a result of these live sessions so keep your eyes and ears open!

I am pleased to say that we have today completed the video shoot for Warning Sign. I'm really looking forward for you guys to be able to see it after it's edited! Big thanks to Ricky Green, Noir Candy, Laura Van Venom, Tembo Visuals - and of course not forgetting The Gent, who naturally turned up at the scene and created his own kind of havoc!
